Using bank apps to process transactions is literally the best thing ever until it isn’t. These are some of the times you wished you banked the old-fashioned way.

A lot of people will tell you it’s your fault but may the good Lord forgive them for they clearly don’t know what they’re saying.

Sometimes, these apps will make you send money to the same account twice. And knowing how funny Nigerians can be, the recipient might just think the double credit is a blessing from God.

Nigerians have begun to recognise and appreciate the havoc an extra “0” can cause, no thanks to using mobile banking apps. This situation has turned several people into accidental virtual top-up vendors

I swear, these things look stupid until they happen to you.

5 When the internet is acting up, and you get debited for a failed transaction
Nigerian Internet Providers and banks are conniving little [redacted], and when they decide to flex muscles, there is hardly anyone who can save you. Or your money. Imagine trying to pay for something, and the transaction ends up being unsuccessful. But you get a debit alert almost immediately. You don’t even have to imagine it; you probably have that experience already.
