Nobody has ever in the history of Monday’s said TGIM- Thank God It’s Monday. Mondays just bring a lot of work, headaches, and heartaches and we know you can relate.
The only time where we don’t totally hate it is on days like today, where it falls on a holiday and so the week officially starts on a Tuesday but when you work within certain places like the Bank or in the Media or Health Work, you still have to work on such holidays which makes the hate even worse.
We know some of you are working or schooling from home now but it doesn’t seem to be any different. Monday’s are still bad vibes. We are sure you’ll be able to relate to these reasons.

1 It cuts the weekend short
Why do we have to endure 5 whole days of work/school and stress and headaches and having to deal with other human beings and have just 2 days to unwind?? So if you manage to sleep on Saturday and you go out to have fun on Sunday, when do you rest from the weekend before starting work again?? We really want to have a talk with the person who looked at the calendar and said we have to live like this.

2 There’s always traffic
For some reason, the traffic situation on Mondays is worse than any other weekday. Makes us wonder why. Do many people drive on Mondays and leave their cars home the other weekdays? Are most people late on Mondays? But even with the lateness, when you wake up at dawn saf to go to work, there are a lot of people on the streets so what exactly is the reason???

3 So many meetings
Mondays are usually the days where everyone just wants to have a meeting with you. There will probably be a morning update meeting with your team or leader depending on the position you hold in your company. If you’re a leader, you continue from that meeting into a different one with your bosses and fellow leaders to explain why certain things happened over the past week and why things didn’t do well and why some team members are misbehaving. Stress.

4 They take too long!
Honestly! You’ve been in class for over 2 hours but the clock says otherwise. Apparently, it’s only been 30 minutes. Same with work. You’ve been in the office saa but it’s not even lunch break yet. Let alone, at 5 pm. Mondays suck!

5 There’s so much seriousness
Ugh! Everyone is catching up on work and has to act all serious. After a weekend of carefree days, this is what you come back to? The difference is stunning!
